Amy Yang

MS, LPC, RPT, IMH

Amy M. Yang is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with a plethora of mental health and neurodivergent certifications and training. She is passionate about exploring your personal goals and supporting you as you reach them.

Amy supports each individual’s autonomy and pledges to be a consistent pillar of support. Everyone has a unique way of obtaining their version of positive mental health, so Amy will explore what modality and theoretical approaches work best for your success.

Therapy can feel uncomfortable, as a person is essentially unlearning maladaptive behaviors and thought processes. Your journey to mental stability must be authored by you with the clinician being part of your team; henceforth, the pace that you choose to go will be respected and championed.

Amy can also use Brain Spotting and EMDR if this is something of interest; Clinical Hypnosis will be offered in the latter part of 2025.

Amy sees individuals and families of all ages.

She accepts the following insurance/payment types:

  • Aetna

  • Ambetter

  • Ambetter Medicaid (ARHOME)

  • BlueCross BlueShield (State/Private)

  • BlueCross BlueShield Medicaid (ARHOME)

  • Cigna

  • Federal BlueCross BlueShield

  • Municipal Health

  • Self Pay (cash, check, HSA/FSA card, debit/credit card)
